St Francis Xavier School students and families maintain strong links with the Parish by:

  • celebrating weekday Masses with parishioners regularly during each term
  • supporting fundraising initiatives for Malawi Village, South Africa through the guidance of Brian Haile
  • supporting the Parish Catechist Program which is held on Tuesday nights in our classrooms
  • ensuring the children within the Parish Catechist Program celebrate the Sacraments with us
  • asking Parishioners to speak about the history and the life of the Parish to our students on a regular basis
  • celebrating our Parish Feast Day in significant ways
  • promoting and attending Parish celebrations during each year

 

All members of our school and parish community –
Priests, Religious, Parents, Parishioners, Staff and Students
are leaders in faith.

We share, with parents, guardians and grandparents, the responsibility of ensuring that our Catholic faith tradition and heritage is taught, fostered and celebrated within the lives of our students. We believe that we are all ministers of Christ’s word and action in the world today and therefore share in the role of bringing forth the Kingdom of God.
