Social Justice

  1. Social justice begins with the understanding that Christ’s presence is central to all our actions and care of each, for each, our neighbour and our global family.
  2. Social justice demands that we DO something about injustice within our setting, our community and our world – we are called to “act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with our God”;
  3. We live out this call by:

    1. supporting families in need through our partnerships or work with the Ardoch Foundation, Oz Child, Anglicare, Sage’s Cottage, Larmenier, Frankston CAMHs, DHS…
    2. providing experiences to enrich family life: Cottage By The Sea, circus and movie tickets, Presentation Family Sisters family holidays, food parcels, family nights…
    3. offering financial support – free uniforms and books, reduction in school fees, travel to events…
    4. providing events to raise money for much needed funds to support the work of Caritas, Malawi Village, Pencil Project, Lion’s Club…
    5. offering and saying prayers for needy families and people across our global village, Frankston City, school family and staff…
    6. listening intently to those who reach out for acceptance, to be clothed in dignity, to be blessed with your time…
